The Royal guard is summoned to Castle British on Sunday, July 25 at 7pm PST. Ranger Crow requests assistance in an investigation, and it may be dangerous. Please come prepared.

Tempest

The Letter

Ranger Crow sat down at the old desk in the room she rented at the Sweet Dreams Inn in Britain and began composing an incident report to Queen Dawn on the gypsy assault a few days ago. The process stopped abruptly when someone knocked at the door , and Delilah opened it to find one of the castle guards.

“Ranger,” he started, “This came to the Queen earlier.” He handed her a letter in an already opened envelope. “She said you would be best to deal with it.”

“Thank you,” she replied. The guard turned to leave, “Wait. Do you know where this came from?”

“Queen Dawn put a note in there with it,” the guard stated, “I don’t know anything about it.”

Delilah watched the guard leave and went back inside to her desk. She extracted the contents carefully, finding two notes. The first was very short, and written in the familiar penmanship of the Queen:

“This came to me from monks at Empath Abbey. Please help them.”

The other letter was short also, but written in the elegant script of a well-trained monk.

“Your Majesty,
Something has happened near the Abbey. One of our monks discovered a gruesome scene while wandering in the forests, and we are not able to deal with such matters ourselves. May we request you send some guards to look into this?”

The coordinates of the place in question were scrawled at the bottom of the note and barely legible. Delilah copied them down on a fresh sheet of parchment before leaving the room to find the nearest crier.

It was time to summon the Royal Guard once again.

“Sir!!  Sir!!”  There was something in the boy’s voice that stopped the leader of the Bloodstone cult in his tracks.  “Sir!  The red ethereal warrior!!  The ancient books!!  Gone!!” 

 The Bloodstone cult leader turned toward the boy and said “send the Shadow to me.”

 ***A note is found at Luna and Yew Fel gates, “Foes of the Crown! Your help is needed in Fel. Meet me here Fri (7/23) 6pst for instructions.”***

OOC:  This event will be in Fel and if there are items (not saying there will be) they will be stealable.  Oh! and if there are items (again not saying there will be), please do not stack them.  *glares at a certain thief*

We have a super secret special surprise for everyone tonight starting at 6pm PST.

Ranger Delilah Crow requests the help of the Royal Guard this saturday, July 17th at 7pm PST.  Please meet in the throne room of Castle British.

Meet at Brit Castle Friday (7/9) at 7 pst!

Queen Dawn was doing (the much hated but had to be done or the kingdom would fall apart or so she was told) paper work at her desk when Jayden Marcus strode in with the attitude of justified righteousness.  Queen Dawn groaned inwardly as she set aside her quill and wondered what trouble Maya and Gorn had gotten into this time. 

 

“Queen Dawn!  I beg your pardon at interrupting you, but there is a matter of urgency that needs a moment of your attention” Jayden rattled off as he bowed. 

 

Queen Dawn hated people bowing to her.  Jayden knew this, but just couldn’t seem to help himself.  “Go on,” she said. 

 

“This note was found at Yew Fel gate.” Jayden dropped a grimy, torn, and possibly blood stained note on top of her other paperwork then rubbed his hand fastidiously against his sleeve.

 

Wanted:  Those who are willing to transport goods from Fel to Tram.  Must be able and willing to fight.  Meet me at Ter Mur moongate Friday (June 25) at 7:15 pst.

 

Gorn

 

 ”He damn well better not be transporting potions!  I’m sick to death of potions!”  Queen Dawn said then remembered the strange crystal Sherry the Mouse had found a few months earlier.  Queen Dawn had an uneasy feeling that in the near future potions would be the least of her worries…

 

Jayden unknowingly pulled her back to the here and now, “Harry got those potions, or at least the ingredients, from somewhere.  Those mares were nasty!!  Harry’s supplier could very well be Gorn.” 

 

Queen Dawn didn’t think so.  Gorn was probably just sending Maya some love letters.  Since he had been banished back to Ter Mur, anything he sent to Britannia would have been destroyed or returned.   So if he wanted to communicate with Maya, that left only one option – smuggling.  But Jayden had one very good argument.  Gorn was in a perfect position to get Harry what he needed.  If that was true… Oh lord she thought, I’m getting as paranoid as Jayden.  “Okay Jayden, what did you have in mind?”

 

Jayden grinned….

Here ye, here ye!!! All citizens are invited to The Archery Tournament to be held at the the Luna Fairgrounds!! This Sunday June 20th at 6pm PST.

This tournament is meant for one and all, even those without archery skill. There will be 2 divisions one for those with the archery skill and one for those without, just for fun.

1. One for those with skill

* each participant will have three shots, 2 participants at a time
* to make it to next level will go in increments, to go to round 2- 100 total from 3 shots, round 3- 150, round 4- 200
* EM’s will be taking care of butte’s and recording scores

2. One for those without skill

* each participant will have three shots, 2 participants at a time
* this will be held by elimination, 2 participants winner goes to next round til everyone has had their chance
* next rounds same thing, winner goes to next until we have a winner.
* Again, EM’s will be taking care of butte’s and recording scores

Please join EM Sangria and EM Fiorella for Fio’s last round of events. Real life has been a bully and she is having to step down from the program.

I want to thank all of Napa Valley for the past years fun. You guys have been a fantastic shard to work for and I will miss you all dearly.

Hi there Napa Valley!!

EM Sangria and I haven’t had a lot of spare time to chat with you guys. So Wednesday June 9th at 7pm PST, we’re calling a bit of a meet and greet at our Office/Counselors Hall in North Britain.

A few topics we’ll be covering are memorials, upcoming arcs and craziness. As always, we look forward to your feedback. So get your notepads ready and let us know what’s on your mind as well.
